Let's just skip over Matt Bastard (mach II) and their dreaded gig at The Spiral and get right to Rat Bastard mach III with Dave and Mike. I don't have any photos or info from the very first show this incarnation of the band played...the earliest I have is the Key West show with Spacemaker & Whatsoever. Key West Club in Merrick was also known as Escapes – a Chippendales type club. So for this show the boys of Rat Bastard dressed...or undressed...as Chippendales dancers – all but Dave, of course.Here's some photos from that night...starting with Rat Bastard, who closed the show...
Before Rat Bastard, Spacemaker rocked the floor/stage. By now John Hoffman had left Spacemaker and Paul McAniff was on drums.
