MTV/CMT were throwing a party at Rodeo Bar and invited Earl and the boys to be the entertainment. This was also one of the first, if not the first show for Merle Twang's replacement, Andy Reidel. Also sitting in for the night was some guy named Hank on lap steel (didn't get his last name). Unfortunately you never get a good look at Andy or Hank because MTV had set up some monitors flanking the stage, obstructing my view."Annie, Say The Word"
