Hey, it’s been a while since I posted anything on here, but in that time something big happened… Billy Kelly was nominated for a Grammy. A GRAMMY! That doesn’t happen to Bellmore’s Unscene. Billy sure has come a long way since his Intellectuals days.
Billy and his musical collaborator Molly Ledford were nominated in the 'Best Children’s Music Album' category for their album Trees. The 58th Annual Grammy Awards took place on February 15, 2016, which Billy attended with his family. Unfortunately, Billy and Molly did not win. But they got there.
The best way to hear Billy’s Grammys experience is from the man himself. (He also started a career in stand-up comedy since we last spoke, so here he is telling his journey.)
